Improvisations recorded live in the studio February 4th and 11th 2009. Extracted from over two hours of music. This Cd illustrates Schizopolitans process of song creation. These kinds of dark excursions are usually not available for public consumption. One is able to witness ideas taking shape in real time. This is how the songs are typically created with Xtevion morphing the phonetics into words and the group finding some sort of structure. This CD is a bit of a departure from the norm as it drifts in to some sort of weird free jazz.There are no overdubs or attempts to correct mistakes as there can be no mistakes when there are no rules. The Lab experiments are usually unheard outside of the band but often contain some of the most interesting work. So rather than attempt a proper "album" for the RPM Challenge,Schizopolitans just turned on the machines and went to work. They only got together twice in February after all.
"Songs" are overrated.
